Back in January 2012, just engaged as a sales rep with one of the local real estate agencies, the very first house I ever sold was this one. Can you believe it! And here I am now, a real estate agency in my own right, and once again I have the privilege of presenting this gorgeous home to the open market. I think it was all meant to happen this way, don’t you!
Not only is 14 Reserve Street a lovely family home sitting high on the hill overlooking the town, but since selling them the house way back then, the owners, Linda and Gary have become two of my dearest friends.
If I could only find the old 2012 photos to lay beside these beautiful spring shots, it would clearly show the love and attention Gary and Linda have lavished on their home.
It has two stories, with the main living space downstairs….a cozy sitting room, an office, kitchen and dining room, large master bedroom with ensuite and walk in robe, and the laundry with a second downstairs WC.
From this level you can walk out to the elevated brick paved patio -where I might add, I and others enjoyed a warm summer’s afternoon they day Linda and Gary got married!
Upstairs is something else again! Three bedrooms and a bathroom, and large sitting room with its own little kitchenette, and a private balcony looking out over wide expansive views.
The interior is gorgeous. But the garden is equally lovely – especially at this time of the year when the purple wisteria and Italian rosemary drape the home is sweet perfume and colour.
